Cannon Beach

The rain keeps coming with almost an inch more today in Hillsboro, but in the breaks we did at least get some sunshine. Donna and I took the opportunity to get out to Cannon Beach to walk Becky and snap some great photographs. The sandy beach is dominated by Haystack Rock, probably one of the most photographed natural sites in Oregon – so who am I to break with tradition |

San Francisco

Elk at Sunset

The Siskiyou National Forest on the border of Oregon and California has got to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Driving South on our way to Santa Cruz a couple of days ago, we rounded a corner to see these magnificent Roosevelt Elk by the side of the road.
